Relapse (possibly Triggering)
I was doing great but I've had a lot of very sudden change in my life and it's just threw me off a bit.
I moved into a flat to live on my own, started college and was diagnosed with a health condition.
Just feeling a bit overwhelmed and its totally threw me off track.
I know I can recover, I have done it before. But I have lost my confidence in myself.
i knew this was a safe space to seek support. Rambled on a bit but I've admitted its happened now

do you have any support with whats going on, life changes can be very hard, especially if you have noone to talk to. As you've said yourself you CAN recover, won't be easy, but you've identified the relapse and whats triggered it and that is great. What has helped you in the past to fight the urges?

I have finally got back into counselling. She has been off for 8 weeks. Also been refereed for extra support so should start soon.
I use a journal. Its great to vent, share thoughts and use images and words to express myself. Can then use it in counselling too. Got the dog as well shes a huge support

I'm sorry that you've been thrown off balance a little, but your self-awareness makes me pretty confident that you will recover from this. You've already taken steps to address things (getting back into counseling) and identified coping skills (your journal, and dog). While those items may not completely be enough to get you through, they are a great start. If coping skills are tools in a toolbox, you've got some of the important tools already. Its just a matter of getting some more.
What other things helped you recover the first time? Can you use those same things now?

I managed to get myself back on my feet a bit for a few days last week. But my counselling session was again cancelled and it threw me off again. So I am just trying to stay up now really.
I've always been able to cop with he support I've had in the past. Never been this bad apart from when I was hospitalised. Not really up for that either. Hate it in there.
But I want to get better so that's part of the fight won already
