Voices and headaches
Does anybody else get headaches due to hearing voices?
I don't often get external voices but when I do they give me really painful headaches.
Sorry for such a pointless post.
I'm not coping.

Hope you're ok not seen you about much for a while.
I get headaches a LOT and they never seem to respond to pain killers either. Due to know if anything triggers the voices? like stress or anything like that?

Yeah stress triggers psychotic like symptoms for me.
A lot of things are going on in my life at the moment and I'm not sure if I'm actually coping all that well.

Emma! *hugs* been worried about you and even asked about you on the other (DD) thread.
I dont get headaches from voices really.. i mean when things are hectic and sadie is griping at me and sarah is crying or screaming then yeah.. but usually my heachaches come from being switchy alot between the 3 of us.. and sad thing is the headaches from the switchiness are much worse for sarah than for me and sadie.. actually all the body aches worse for sarah..
not sure why but i know she despises my body.. cant say i blame her.lol
glad youre back hon take care

so my parents have just split up because my dads been having an affair for the last 6 years and my mum left him today - I've just had to break the news to my brother that he's going to be living with me for a while.
I feel completely numb now and I don't know what to do with myself.

Hugs, that sounds extremely pressurising. Do you have any support around you?
I get headaches too when the Voices get bad. I also get physical exhaustion.
|
PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

i've all but stoped hearing voices/general hallucinations, but when it was going on yes nearly all the time.
a few voices made headachse worse than others, but there was a good 2-month period where i had a migrane that wouldn't go away because of it.
(in hindsight, this post is terribly unconstructive. you're not alone *hug*)

Emma *Cuddles*.
I have headaches constantly due to Voices/ alters/ flashbacks/ dissociation/ distress etc.
I'm so, so sorry to hear about your parents and the amount of pressure and distress you are under at the moment. I'm thinking of you and praying for you. If you ever want to talk please feel free to PM me, or if you would prefer to text I can give you my number.
Stay safe. Loves xxx
