Hey Tamo. I also hope you enjoy it. I've heard very good things about that show! =)

It's not a fancy shower curtain - a sorta bright pink/blue/purple paisley mandala sort of pattern but I've finally decided to fix the curtain rail after years of having a temporary solution so have bought a new extendable one that will have to go across my entire bathroom beyond the bath (!) but I won't have to drill anything. I hope it stays up. =/ And I'm replacing the "non-rust" shower caddy which is rusted to crap. Bit of a bathroom overhaul. Maybe I'll even repaint the walls over Christmas... *gasp* but that might be asking too much, lol.

And there ends the life story of my bathroom.

Just got the usual laundry and attempt at cleaning the kitchen to do today. And wrap presents and write cards.

I recently had my bathroom repainted. But the landlord did that of their own accord. I had nothing to do with it!

I'm also doing laundry.
I should clean too but EFFORT!

I have to paint things myself but it was done badly (I did the first layer, ex finished it but didn't finish it very well...) and it pisses me off every time I go in there.

I'll probably have to do the living room myself because I've made a little bit of mess on the walls. Like sellotape marks and coke splashes!

It's quite easy. Look up some youtube videos? I like it once I get going but like most things I build it up to be a massively impossible task so never get round to doing it. I really want to paint my bedroom because I still have tester patches on the walls and it looks *****.

I don't know why I glossed over the mention of coke stains on the walls. Probably because it's not surprising, haha.

I think a fresh sort of green for my bedroom.

I've never gotten my head round those tester patches, they really just don't help me at all but then again I am **** at visualising anything

The tester patches clearly didn't help me at all as I have four different coloured patches duplicated on three of the walls in my room...! And I'm not going to use any of those colours.

To be honest they're all shades of "man cave grey"... but I swapped rooms so want a cheerful colour.

I'm not actually entire sure if I'm allowed to any more. The housing contract was reissued and updated fairly recently and I was told it said we can't paint... but I need to do something because those test patches can't stay!

this is one of the few advatages of this house... there may be no heating, the roof may leak, and none of the doors shut fully... but as long as the rent is paid the landlord literally doesn't care what is done to the house
