Heh.. I'm ok.. Went to the mental health centre for my first appointment.. They're setting me up with all sorts of assessments and stuff.. Kinda scared too.

Yea.. that's what I'm hoping. Just a lot of questions and hiding things. (from mum) and not sure if I really want to know really..
and they all seemed pretty good at their jobs there. It was at the hospital so.. well they would probably have to be "competent".. And yea. Might help me. Trying to tackle this with limited support.. and I don't think I can do it on my own.

can relate to not really wanting to know... I remember I was distraught when they diagnosed me with DID, and that was despite my suspecting it before hand.
In many ways though I think it's often better to know - the enermy you know is better than the one you dont. Or however that saying goes
Hiding stuff from people is never fun either... Is there no chance that your mum would understand if you spoke to her?

I don't think telling Mum is a good idea..
At all. She's not very supportive about that sort of thing. seems to think that there cant be anything wrong, I'm just.. being attention seeking or trying to make trouble.. I know it's not ideal to hide it from her.. But thats assuming she would take it well and I was just being scared over nothing.
