Physical illness on top of everything else.

I don't know if I should post this here, but its making me pretty depressed.
Yesterday I got a phone call from the general hospital. They said I have von Willebrands disease. Excellent. Absolutely f*cking excellent. I feel like SIing. I know I'm being a drama queen, but my physical health was doing so well up until now.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

it's a bleeding disorder I think... something to do with the lack of a certain protein...

do you know what type it is steal? there are 3 types, with type 3 being the most sever. but there are treatment plans, you can still do things others can, maybe just have to be slightly more careful.

I know it's shock, especially with everything else. but speak to your doctor and they'll help you throgh this

I'm sorry... :(. It is understandable that you are scared. Do you know the extent of its seriousness, or is it uncertainty that's bothering you? What exactly does it entail? Maybe if we can have more details we can be able to help you see the positives?

Thanks so much guys. I will update after I see the consultant.

What von Willebrands does to me is:
- Nosebleeds
- Bleeding gums
- Bad healing of cuts
- Used to have very heavy periods, but since I started taking antipsychotics, my periods are much less.

I'll be ok.

Thanks so much for the support. Much appreciated.
