Triggering (SI/Abuse) - I'm being emotionally bullied in my 'Friends'

My friends don't know I SI.
My friends say things in a joke-ey way, like they call me a freak cause I dont watch certain programmes, or a geek cause I do relatively well in school.
But what scares me is that these are the things I remember when I cut, I feel so bad for blaming my friends for cutting myself. When it is really only my own fault.
I'm getting paranoid that none of my friends really like me. If they didn't mean what they said why would they say it?

I'm really confused and upset by all this ='(

Sometimes people say things that they don't mean. They might just be picking on you because they aren't so happy with themselves because they want to do as well as you in school. That is the reason most people start to bully, to make themselves feel better.

people often sort of make fun of friends... when i was at school everyone was veyr sarcastic, but I could never tell what was and was not meant to be in sarcasm... it was just something everyone in the area did though... apparently sarcasm is the humor of yorkshire...
they probably just don't realise that what they say is hurting you...


that and with the geeek thing i agree with the above, they probably secretly wish that they got grades like yours

Don't sweat it hun, be proud you are doing well in school and being bullied is just a part of life. What's important is that you learn to brush your shoulders off and forget about the small stuff. Bullies are just a side-effect of immaturity! Like they said on here, people bully each other to make themselves feel better or to seem 'cool'. Be yourself and be damn proud of it!
