You don't have to be 18 to drink and have a problem drinking.
What is it you want help with? What has brought you to feel you need to drink, this time round?
Alcoholic is perhaps a little harsh of a comment to make.
thsank you!
i am NOT AN ALCHOLIC.
I only sdrenk everyn ight.
if iwas driunking in the day.. then yeah. i mean some itmes i do drink ain the morning. ubt only when i can.,
anyways.
yeah i drank xcuase it stops my from lkilling myself.
alcoholic may be a little harsh... but you can be an alcoholic and only drink at night, it's when you feel the need to drink, doesn't even have to be everyday... but anyway, lets ignore that word and label.
in your first post you asked for help, how can we help you? do you talk to anyone about these feelings that are leading you down this road?

i agree with the others.Alcholic is a bit harsh and i dont see that was the best way your Dad could of handled things [however i am guessing he is quite worried for you right now so maybe got it a bit wrong in his worries.]
But it doesnt mean you may not have a drink problem sweetheart.i think even you must realise that cos you have took the very very brave step of posting in this section sweetheart.
i dont want to offend you with what im saying but things are getting more and more out of control and i just want you to get help....and to want that help...for yourself.
Helen your a good person.Youve helped me a lot and so many others im sure and thats only the start of the postive that i could say about you as a person.
Also i find it interesting though that at first you said you drink to stop you from killing yourself but then you said you hope it kills you.Did you notice that?
i understand i think what you mean but its odd how things work with this type of thing dont you think?ive just been thinking about it.
Sorry probably doesnt make much sense.
i do not always manage to be around but i wish you all the very best - love and luck to you all!
My mother is an alcoholic and she only drinks at night.
I personally think you are an alcoholic Helen, you're drinking more&more&becoming dependent on it.
You may or may not believe me when I say you will die if you carry on. Anna has said you will. She may not have told you but doctors have told you(from what you've told me) you will die.
You are putting so much strain on your body Helen. So much strain. The b/ping, the cutting, the laxatives, this extreme drinking...
I love you Baby. Please... try and hold out until Anna gets you IP?
I'm going to sleep now as I'm ill and really feel terrible hence why I'm a bit snappy(I'm sorry baby), please text/call me if you need me.
I love you so much.

hmm. I don't know.
My dad has banned me from drinking since i haven't been sober for 3 days unles I was asleep... but I just say its cause its christmas :/
Helen is not an alcoholic......she may be abusing alcohol, but its temporary its not like shes permantly doing it, she doesnt live off it, I have met an alcoholic and helen is by far not one.
A temporary misuse of alcohol to deal with current issues is alcohol dependency, not alcoholism itself.
There is a big difference and labeling Helen as an alcoholic is not only insulting in my opinion but also a very defeatist attitude to take, it's as if you have resigned it to be a never ending problem.
Whether your mother is an alcoholic is neither here nor there and it certainly doesn't mean that whatever you say becomes automatically correct. Evidently.
Sorry, but that had to be said because pinning the label 'alcoholic' on Helen is quite a damaging thing to do especially when it is an unfounded exaggeration.
You don't have to be an alcoholic to be dependent on drinking.
