Sexual Health - male sex related question

erm... this is a little odd...

basically my boyfriends penisi is swollen... sort of at the top... he's not registered with our local doctors... should I make him go to the hospital or just not worry about it? he's a bit concerned but refusing to go to the hospital... (walk in centres don't appear to exist in scotland...)

i would recommend getting it looked at if possible. It may be a localised skin reaction, but without someone examining it, its very hard to work out what is happening.

I agree with l'il esky try to find somewhere for him to have it checked.

only place I know of is a family planning clinic... but that will be closing soon...
I've tried google but couldn't really find anywhere other than that...

I've convinced him that if it hasn't improved/gone by tomorrow that he has to go to the hospital/family planning clinic

I've done some research too and most the things it could be seem to sort theirselves out... there are no other symptoms but this and it developed fairly quickly, so I'm at a bit of a loss for any amateur diagnosis...

(ironic thing is we are both studying to be doctors lol)

I will have another go at talking him into going to see someone today though. thanks for the replies

My bf had something similar a long time ago and it was a trapped nerve in the foreskin but really he should be checked out as it could be anything
