Adult - Trouble with Roommates/Friends

Hi everyone Im very new here and its my first post. My Name is Jason Im 49 and my best friend,his wife and son live in my home. For the last 8 months they have been very late on rent each month sometimes even going into the following month. I do love all 3 of them but I need there money to pay the bills at what point am I allowed to get angry and what can I do to keep them as friends?
Any Comments or suggestions would be appreciated...

Hi Jason. I think before you get angry you just need to speak to them openly and honestly. If they're good friends they will understand and not be offended that you are relying on their rent money to be paid at a certain time. There might be a reason they can't pay on time which you don't know about but airing your concerns now will hopefully help to sort it out before it resorts to anger and conflict. There's no reason you should lose them as friends over this.

i agree with the above, having a conversation with them may be the best starting point. THere may be something going on that you don't know about, or they may not realise that you relly on their rent to the extent that you do. Of course if it continus after the conversation then it may need to my taken further, but i think a conversation needs to happen first
