Hi OP
Basically the same as what other people have said. They will ask you whether you see/hear etc things that other people don’t, if you ever feel anyone is watching you or listening on you, if you have ever thought people are reading your mind, or that you can read their mind. If you ever get messages through screens or radio etc. If you have ever believed yourself to have a special mission etc.
The assessment will also ask about sleep, appetite, motivation, usual kind of mental health assessment but a lot of it will be about psychosis related symptoms. They will also ask about your family history, any stressors, any forensic or notable medical history, drug and alcohol misuse etc. And also what you would like to happen following the assessment.
The assessment might be with one or two people. EIP itself is usually similar to CMHT, in that people usually have a care coordinator but they are much more intense in the support and holistic in the support they offer. They work intensely with people experiencing their first ‘episode’ of psychosis and offer more varied and intense support than the CMHT usually does for a set period of time (usually around three years).
They will probably also ask you what (if any) treatments you’ve tried in the past etc and how long ago you started to experience symptoms etc.
Hope this helps.
