Go see your university careers service and get some advice about how to maximise your CV and/or covering letter and/or application forms.

Job hunting can be a numbers game. You just need to keep applying for anything you can, and it might be an idea to look further afield as well.

You could look at volunteering as a way of helping both with current employment experience, but also for routine.

I agree with the volunteering idea, I am unemployed at the moment and withou tthe volunteering I honestly think I'd go mad from boredom/lack of routine

what sector are you wanting to go into? You may be able to get some voluntary work in that area or with transferable skills, some even offer training. I am currently volunteering as a teaching assistant with an ESOL class and will be working at a summer school for 2 weeks in July.

Your could also look into night classes or only courses to keep yourself active and to add to your future employability. I am currently learning Spanish at a nightclass and it's great, gets me out and also gives me some socialisation.

What are you wanting to do? If it is to work with children in schools then there will be plenty of summer clubs soon, and possibly some summer schools depending on your area.

Try to find some voluntary opportunity within the sector you want to work in. That way you'll get actual experience which will count for a lot.

Do you have your qualifications for being a teacher? Or sports based ones? What sort of jobs have you been applying for?

Maybe apply for jobs outside of your field for now just so your cv doesn't have huge gaps in it.

Also what about volunteering in other related but not exact areas. Or asking coaches if you can shadow them or them mentor you?

Something Special.
