I wanted to be an R.A.F pilot but was told I couldnt cos I was a girl.
At 27, I realised I wanted to be a criminal profiler. Went to college, uni, and still trying now!

In kindergarten i wanted to be a thief. Then i was told that thieves go to prison..... What a bummer!!!!
Growing up i wanted to work in the navy. But a bad back put an end to that dream....
I also wanted to be a doctor. But i never got the grades to get into med school.
I studied nano science for a year at uni. Then i got ill. Totally bonkers. Haven't really been in education since then..... I don't have much of a clue what is possible for me, education wise..... Back in highschool, taking some classes..... But i feel old compared to my class mates.
A ghostbuster. I had all the Ghostbusters toys and played with them all the time. Being a real ghostbuster was my dream
"Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and wrong because sometime in your life you will have been all of these."
I wanted to be a dinosaur when I was very young (way to go little me!)
Then, I couldnt decide between being a teacher, an artist or a climber. So, I was going to do all of them. Climb big mountains, paint the views and then come back and teach little kids all about it lol (forward planning!)
In high school, I was going to be a teacher, or something in relation to mechanics, maths physics type of thing.
When I went to uni, I was going to be a nurse.
lol
I think since about 5 i wanted to be a vet, but i realised its alot of hard work. Then when i was a bit older so 13-16 i changed from wanting to work with horses and wanting to be a vet nurse, which then changed to be an equine vet nurse Now hopefully, if i get into uni i wanna be a psych nurse :)
a surgeon... From the age of 6 that's all I wanted to be, wasn't until my third year of uni (age 21) that a careers adviser told me why that would not be possible... so now I am having to come up with a new career goal
also... a lot of peoples childhood careeer aims seem to involve flying :P
Since I was about 6 I've wanted to be a police officer. Since it wasn't realistic I've also gone through various options when I was younger e.g. Lawyer, Crash Investigator, teacher, psychologist...and apparently when I was very little, a milk-lady.
But deep down always a police officer, and that hasn't changed whatsoever. Unfortunately, my eyesight isn't good enough, and I've also made things slightly difficult for myself. But I will get as close as I can. :D

I wanted to be a stuntwoman until I was about 13, and ever since then it's been a vet.
And I agree, I'd love to be able to fly too. I've been in a tiny 2-person helicopter before and it was absolutely fantastic, I'd love to be able to fly one of those.
There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
A vet.
Right up until I finished college it was all I wanted to do.
Although at that point I'd done work experience in a vet surgery and realised it was a lot of standing up all day and seeing really routine cases and stuff and I think perhaps I only continued to want it because I had no idea what else to do.
I'm doing Biology now, and then I still have no idea what to do!
Caise: my little brother (11) wants to be a paleontologist.
I always wanted to be a farmer but was put off by the fact it's barely a subsistence wage. Part of me would still love to be a farmer.
you could be an argicultural contractor *nobs* my step-dad does that, he used to be a farmer but changed about 10 years ago and his wage multiplied gratly when he did lol
makedamnsure: I'm a final year vet student, so if you want any information on the course/job you can PM me if you like. Or you could look at vet nursing?
And a paleontologist is a really cute thing to want to be for an 11 year old!
