does anyone have happy, safe, passionate sex? i thought it would be good to talk about.
i have a long distance lover who makes me feel so safe, womanly, wanted, loved.. he is my best friend and makes me feel things i've never felt before.

You know at first i thought what a bizzare thread but actually i think its quite nice. Aside from the schoolboy smutty hunour, whenever sex is mentioned on RYL it is pretty much always in a bad light. would be kinda nice and healthy to hear some positives about it. Afterall it is rather lovely when it happens!
So Kudos for trying, albeit i doubt many will reply :P

Been thinking of this thread for a few days...
Yes, H and I have a lovely and very fun sex life.
Everything with him is fun, tho...he's my best friend.
Nice to have a bit of positivity...nice change.
As has been said, it's quite a nice idea for a thread. I agree that it's nice to show sex in a positive light.
Yes, I have happy, safe, passionate sex, with my other half. I'm an overly emotional person, however, and sometimes find myself crying afterwards. They're happy tears though, because he makes me feel so special, which is something I don't get to feel usually..
You are a wonderful creation.
You know more than you think you know, just as you know less than you want to know.
i have had heaps of problems with sex, even with people who i loved, and who loved me. i have been "untouchable" so much of my life. but i have also had the wonderful, close sex, that this thread is about. i wanted to say that even if you have been through some horrible experiences that really affect how intimate you can be, it is possible to come back from that, and enjoy sex the way it was meant to be.
Before I met my boyfriend I was starting to wonder if I ever would experience passionate, loving safe sex. Before I met my boyfriend, with previous partners I felt I couldn't open up and sex was always a bit crap. I've been abused sexually and raped so that's why I had so many problems.
My boyfriend is great with my emotional issues and mental health needs and I trust him so I think that's why the sex is good because of the emotional connection and trust. He makes me more confident about my body too so that helps.
I somehow feel much too young to say this, but me and my boy have that, yes (:
& like many people have already said, it just makes me feel special and pretty, which is weird >-< but nice (:
It didn't matter in the end how old they had been, or that they were girls,
but only that we had loved them and that they hadn't heard us calling,
still do not hear us calling them from out of those rooms where they went to be alone for all time,
and where we will never find the pieces to put them back together.
No. Like some other people here, I've had bad experiences and tend to freak out at the crucial moment. But it's really nice to read this thread. Makes me think maybe, somewhere, someone...

I've only had 3 voluntary partners and one I was married too lol. With my current partner the sex is wonderful. He's so caring and he listens if i need him to stop he'll stop. It's a little astounding to me to have someone care for me like that. I didn't have it with my husband or with the guy i rebounded with. But yes. even after such horrid experiences... i have a lovely sex life.

I don't have a healthy sex life yet. Currently, I don't have a partner; and my past partners were overbearing and really only cared about their needs. I believe though, that there has to be someone who can deal with me out there. I just haven't found him yet.

Its nice to see a little positivity on here. Yes I love my sex life - afterwards, I always seem to have a massive smile on my face and seem to be filled to the brim with love for him. To me its not just about the sex, its about the feelings that come with it :)
Not much I can say though... Been with my current partner for almost 4 years, but it's only in the last 8 months that have beeen able to even attempt sex properly. Working on it though
ive been with my wife(yes, she is my wife, just not legally, because they wont legalize it!!grrr)
anyhow, i want to explain this correctly.
i have no problem pleasing her, but when its my turn, i refuse it. its not the actual act. its the after effects. i love the intimacy while its happening but i go to pieces afterwards. i feel guilty and dont know why. therapists have told me its just due to the PTSD but will get better over time.
im still waiting.
nice thread though. i was hesitant to read it for a while because i thought it would turn into what most of these type threads do. great job for keeping it on track everyone :)
I do have happy, healthy sex. Well, I have. I was with my last girl friend for 2 years and we were able to. Lately, I've been a little...promiscuous. As soon as I got out of my relationship, I jumped ship and just started being a little wild. I'm reigning myself in though, trying not to use sex to fill any holes. I'm trying to focus on me :)
