Is anyone going on the demo set up by the NUS and UCU with regards to the higher education cuts?
Me and my friends are going and a few college teachers are coming aswell.

no, i think your talking aboutt he same protest =] but i dont want to miss my lessons lol, that sounds a bit nerdy but id rather be at college, but alot of my friends are going, i think its mainly jsut to get out of college tomorrow to be honest

I'll be there. But not in the march, I'll be there working (I'm a photographer). My partner is meant to be joining the march though (assuming he gets up in time in the morning lol)

I know alot of people that are going. My uni (Sunderland) has organised coaches down, but I know other people from other universities that have gone aswell.

did anyone else get trappped in the bit with the fires and smashing of doors and stuff? It was seriously scary!!! Riot police and everything... people started to throw old laptops at the doors of a building and the doors smashed, so a load of people went inside and got to the roof and started to hang signs over the edge, than a load of people on the ground made bonfires from their signs...
I was going to go but I didn't because I felt really ill this morning and had to pick up some post from the royal mail depot so I didn't wake up till half 3.

today was amazing! We was on a wall by hm customs for 2hours. We went and got food thats when we heard about millbank, we got there at just before 4pm and we was on the stairs. We see 1window go through. I dont agree with what happened because people got hurt but other that the trouble it was an amazing day!
