does anyone have any advice on finding a therapist or someone?

hi, i was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to find a good therapist or psychologist or psychiatrist or someone.
i need to talk to someone about everything, i just can't cope anymore. i've been displaying symptoms alot for BPD and possibly other things.
i'd also like to talk about SH and things...just everything really...

any advice on how to find someone?

Ah, I see. Erm, to be honest I'm not sure how you do it without going through a GP, I know it can be done though. Hopefully someone else will know and be able to help you

Are you at school?
I'm sure you can see a school counsillor untill you feel ready to go to your GP. Obviously they can't diagnose but it's a good outlet to talk about things.

Also, when I was at school and went to my GP for a referral, I told my mum that I was doing some extra work in school & went straight after school. :)

I got referred to a psychiatrist and I am so glad I did pluck up the courage. I understand your worry though.

You would also ask your school/workplace if they are in touch with any psychological services?
