^*hugs* Hope today was okay and you got some stuff done.

Sometimes I seriously question whether I am good enough to be at uni. It's only the second week of lectures and I'm so behind already, that can't be good! Plus I think I'm getting sick, I think my friend gave me her germs ><

Hey, thanks.

Got some work done.

I think you're good enough to be here - but with some students here I know its easy to feel out of place!

How has your day been?

Drink plenty of orange juice and eat well! Hopefully that can fight off some of those germs!

so now I'm missed a lot of lectures and 2 labs :/

I went to the library today, which I always find scary, but I had my support worker with me. I only maanged to get one book out, but reserved two more.

Hannah, I frequently struggle with reading large amounts. I find having lots of breaks helps and also making notes about what I'm reading makes sure I am concentrating instead of reading the words without actually taking in the information.

Heidi, thanks. I find writing notes quite helpful usually. I'm pretty bad at taking breaks, I tend to just sit there for hours, so I'll try that.

Well done for going to the library!

But is it really score when you're paying £3000 a year for the privelage? I'd much rather have a packed schedule of lectures, seminars, tutorials and lab work so I learnt as much as possible and got better value for money.

Oh that sucks. I only just escaped fee paying, my parents moved to England literally a couple of weeks after the 'deadline' thing for living in Scotland. I feel lucky :)

I'm in Scotland so not paying in tuition fees. I would happily pay (or rather, get a loan) for university education. £3,500 is no where near the full cost, we're lucky to still have it so heavily subsidised in this country.
