first day back, so much work, absolutely petrified.
didn't manage to go to the society meeting.

but on the plus, i may get a dark space in the studio all to myself if no-one wants the spaces in the room bit i'm in.
i'd take this as "booo no-one likes me" but i think i'm going with "hurrrah i can get uni work done"

We had a divvying up of the marks too, though we did it mostly evenly, except me and one other girl got a percentage point more than everyone else!
I found the prospect of doing that terrifying because I'm not assertive, so if someone had said I should get no marks I'd have probably accepted it even if I'd have done loads of work, but luckily I was with a group of decent people who didn't do that!

I wish my uni would do that, we all get the same mark. So you can do bugger all and still get a really good mark because the others in the group want one.

Second day of classes and I've already missed one (was on the first day!)

Really can't be bothered with all this... But getting my tattoo tomorrow so excited by that!

What modules are you doing this semester?

Mine are all the boring ones like stats, neuropsychology and theory stuff....not exciting...

Getting a latin quote on my wrist - going to hurt! Can't wait though!

Ooh, what Latin quote? Hope it doesn't hurt too much!

I'm taking Ethics, Biblical Studies and 1st year Classical Studies. I may be the only person to find them exciting, but yes =P

Ethics are good, if a little complicated. Can end up getting lost in your own arguments.

I'm doing a core course (contemporary geography or something it's called), a dissertation and a course in the social geography of 'outsiders'.

fresher's week completely wore me out, I had to steward a bar crawl as well as go around advertising to freshers. I feel asleep really early on Friday night. Still, I have hardly any lectures this year, I've got Mondays and Wednesdays off and 4 modules other than my dissertation. Still, I'm shitting mysel over the workload.

My week is not as bad as it was ment to be - originally 9am - 1am every day for a lecture and 2pm - 5pm every day for a lab but they have changed the course and it is now half semester modules so only 3 days! But the amount of journal articles I have to read and books etc! Is scary!

Worked this morning(Primark), got my tattoo, got lost with a friend driving around dundee trying to find Halfords, had tea at hers, then back made toast and read while sitting with folk in the kitchen! Relatively eventful day!

Uni field trip tomorrow, scary!
I'm off to leicestershire to take soil samples, but I've got my mentor coming with me at least.

Had 2 hours of meetings today regarding dissertation and my arctic ecology project. I've not done a full week at uni yet and already have around 15,000 words stacked up

I have a dissertation, power in Britain, Topics in British Politics, Gender in World Politics and 20th century political thought. Its not too bad in that I've gone for a bit of topic overlap in there. But I'm shitting myself over the dissertation.
