I am really liking Uni so far - even though my classes don't start until tomorrow and I've only been here a week. My flatmates are LOVELY! (:
& i Settled in quicker than I thought I would. But Yeah - I like it. Espec. Having all the freedom!

I've been back for a week and already snowed under with work!
But it's all good, just a lot of research and essay writing ahead!

And you say I only hear what I want to.

Text book shopping sounds.. fun lol. I still need to buy two books but I really can't afford it. It's sad.
First lecture was good. Really looking forward to that module. :)

I could do work from home, but the internet is infinitely more exciting than trying to find patterns in data and then doing stats on them.

makes sense.
I'm just a freak... I need noise and activity or I get jumpy and nervous and cannot focus lol. it's annoying when you have group projects and stuff and they want to meet in the library

It's rubbish, isn't it? I hate it because there is never a group where everyone wants to work to get good grades. Argh!

I find with group work I always end up either being the outsider who's pushed out, or the only one who bothers to work meaning they all get grades from my hard work when they did nothing!
I try to avoid group work if at all possible. I can see it's purpose, team working skills and stuff, but it just doesn't seem worth it

I found out today that one of my projects is group work. I did one last year and it wasn't too bad as we were put in groups. Tyhis year you choose your own groups and I have a fear of being like the fat kid left at the end of picking teams that no one wants.
