all our years mix, i know everyone in the glass department apart from a couple of part time students. Its going to be a sad end of year this year... 3rd years will be leaving that i have known since the day i started and the artist in residents and my old flatmates from my year 0.

My course is more about helping each other.Oh yeah, i forgot MA's also can go on the study trip aswel... so really its 5 years. sounds mad! :P

I havn't done any work all weekend, I am thinking of going into my department and going "aghhhhh no, I hate you deadline people!" then running around in circles in the hope that they will take pity upon me and somehow rescue me from the horror that is deadlines.

This is true, I complain about the workload (which drives me crazy) but I don't want to graduate, I find the thought of being halfway through uni very scary indeed.

I don't really want to leave either, but I need to do a masters for my chosen career. Shame it costs so much though. I'd love to do a PhD and spend my life in academia but I am nowhere near smart or rich enough.

I need to do a pgce to get into teaching but then i am thinking another year or two doing another arty degree or an MA in glass would be a benifit as i could work part time in schools or where am just about to start my work experience

I agree with the people that say "I'm sick of the workload, but don't want to graduate."

I have sooooooo much work to do but I don't want to grow up and have to deal with more unfun stuff haha.

Thank you for all of your help and support. I will no longer be coming to RYL. Semi-explanation will be inside my profile.

It depends I guess. Seems that university works a bit differently for most of us here in the US. I'm not dealing with a lot of that stuff now, I basically have school/ housing paid for until I graduate. I just have to worry about stuff like car insurance/maintainence, cell phone, etc... And my lovely unpaid internship, which is its own job.

Graduating means I'll be in the "real" world with full-time jobs and rent and stuff. Haha.
