Well done PoisonedApple :) Sounds like you're doing really well and improving after each one. Doing it without stopping is fab! Keep it up!

My second run was today - it felt a lot harder than the first one, probably because I felt a bit stiff and achy from that, but it seemed to go a bit quicker too. I didn't get lost though :P

Keep going everyone! If I can do it then I'm pretty sure anyone can :) x

I totally failed at this this week, I'm sorry. I ended up volunteering to be an adult on a school trip, working loads and stressing about results so yeah... not had a terrific amount of time! I shall try it tomorrow night after work at like, 8:30pm and if I don't manage that, I shall be starting on Monday.

Woooo to all of you succeeding :)
Well done for the perseverence!

I think I'm skipping tonight's run and starting up again Monday. After working and the wedding and all of the other stuff going on yesterday I didn't even get home till 10 pm and had only gotten 4 hours of sleep the night before... Then only 6 hours sleep last night. I am exhausted and don't think I could do a run without passing out at this point.

Right, going to go out and start week 2. It's been a mental week with starting my new job, so I don't know how far I'll get through it, but I'll have a go. :)

One of the runs in the middle I found a bit tough, but once I was on runs 5 and 6 I was flying, and actually getting some decent speed as well. Glad I went out. :)

makedamnsure - I hope I feel like that when I start week 2 on Tuesday! Sounds like you're quite the pro - your poor dog though! I don't think mine would cope with his tiny legs :P

Whispered Secret (Lizzie?) - Well done! It's great coming back and being glad that you went out and did it. I reckon runs 3 and 4 are my hardest ones and then it does seem to get easier. Though I'm not sure I'm getting any decent speed like you!

random.swirls - Woo! Did you find it any easier than the first? I found it soooo much harder.

I did my third run of the week in the rain this evening and it felt much better than either of the other two runs I've done. I think I liked how quiet the park was so I didn't have the 'eeeek' moment whenever I saw someone! Hopefully week 2 won't seem like a huge jump.

Keep it up!

Week two isn't a huge jump. Sure you a running for longer, but you also get longer rest walks (just shorter in ratio) :)

Umm in some ways I found the runs easier in that i could of gone on for longer but I did notice around run 5 I was like let this be over but maybe that was psychological as I knew I had 8 runs to do!!!

I'm Camilla or Cam or something!!!

So my run was pretty eventful! Halfway through I felt a pain in my lower back, put my hand there, discovered there was a wasp and I had only squashed it and made it angry, panicked, attempted to remove it but failed, ripped my t-shirt off and prayed no cars came down the lane I was in, got rid of the wasp, cried a little and then carried on with my run, laughing at how stupid I'd been...

I look forward to the next one!
