A guy I know claims to have DID but it is most likely he has schiz or something relative. He says he argues with the people which is impossible and it's distressing to know he thinks it's DID when it's prolly something else.
I feel hatred towards him but I also pity him and wish to infact help him but how??
Vaxir- Hello. Well, if you wish to help him, the first step will be helping to get him to go get a psych evaluation. This will tell you both if it is DID/DDNOS or Schizophrenia or whatever disorder he is suffering from. Doing so will not only help you understand him andperhaps not be so frustrated with him, but it truly is the first step for him in getting help and getting to a better place with whatever he may be struggling with. Goodluck to you both if whatever he decides.

I hate the mother.
We were watching some detective thing yesterday - cut a long story short, it turns out the killer had DID and it was his alter who was killing males who resembled their abusive stepfather.
Of course that got the mother and grandfather calling him a "nutter". I said "he's not a nutter, he can't help having DID" and the mother kept saying "what would you do if he killed one of your children".
Their ignorance to something like that just infuriates me, especially when their daughter suffers from dissociation. I don't expect the grandfather to understand, he's from a totally different era but the mother I do, especially when Kathryn has shown her information about it and Borderline Personality Disorder to help her see what she's going through. I suspect the Mum just acts like the grandfather to please him; even if he's in the wrong she always sides with him against Kathryn. No use talking to the mother, it's in the past now and she's probably forgotten it.
hey Reizo I see you like orange too ! awesomeness! ha yeah watched a show like that the other night too think it was Criminal Minds.
Sorry about the grandfatherr and mother. But yeah she could be just agreeing with him to avoid debate or something.
Is Kathryn doing ok? Haven't heard from her much here lately. may be the holidays..I know we have alot of different feelings floating around from excited to sad to just plain depressing..

Haha yeah I like orange; it's my favourite colour.
No she hasn't really been around, don't know why. To us it's not even December, its around late October. Our awareness of time and stuff hasn't been exactly on the ball recently; it doesn't even feel like we went through November.
She always does that, she always agrees with him to avoid upsetting him, and when she does it's always something against Kathryn, like the subject of dissociation for examples, or piercings, in another way. We don't tell them when we get them (we recently got a tragus piercing).
I suppose in one way we haven't had enough feelings around, if you see what I mean. It's just plain empty, or slightly sad, or something. I don't really know - none of us do. Just feels like we're going through the motions.
everything any everyone is annoying me... can feel michelle under the surface wanting to explode out, wanting to scream at and hit people... usually would go for a walk to calm everything and everyone down, but can't, not allowed to go out. Seriously just want to punch a wall or something
can you say there's an emergency or something and just go?
what would happen if you disappeared tonight, or tomorrow morning? leave a note and head back as soon as the trains are running?
For those doubts that swirl all around us
For those lives that tear at the seams
We know… we’re not what we’ve seen
For this dance we’ll move with each other
There ain’t no other step than one foot
Right in front of the other
Hmm... when do the buses start again? That's probably your best chance to get out of there as early as possible.
I can sympathise with being stuck somewhere with people that are being horrible to you and not being able to escape. It's awful and frustrating and I hope that you can get out of there quickly.

Hey hope everyone's okay today.
Sorry to hear about your situation Hazel, the london bus service can be appalling at times, and certain buses are worse than others for reliability. We know cos we live in London too.
We're currently at work, hence why I'm out. I can cope better with the boss as my temper isn't as short as a few others' and I'm a lot calmer (the boss always has a go at us for doing or not doing something. We've never gotten any thanks in the 3 years we've been working here).
hey skye.. pfft. sounds like our boss. no thanks no raises no holiday pay no vacations no paid sick days no insurance or other benefits. it is all BS. anyhow we can really relate alot. sorry your boss sucks like ours tho. SADIE

Ah don't worry about it. We don't get any of that either. Well, she paid us for holiday that we didn't take... But that was only once. If we work a lot and get paid a lot she gets all humpy about it... She's just a plain misery.
Haven't posted here before - yet reading all the past posts makes me feel like this is home. I/we've not been diagnosed as DID and sometimes we deny it completely and don't believe it possible. We're co-conscious which is hell because they do things and I'm still 'there' but can't do anything about it.
They drive me crazy - one constantly tells us she hates us, another keeps reminding us that she was told not to tell which means when we try, or if we say things they all start arguing.

Welcome to the thread - I'm Skye, an alter. We've been diagnosed with BPD and according to the diagnostic criteria, severe dissociation is a symptom of it.
