talking about SA is never nice...

I find that talking about it in the 3rd person, like a story where you are narrator makes it easier... sort of distances you or something...
or you could write some stuff down?

do you think you could bring up the spirits with your CPN?

Please do talk to your CPN/psych about this.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

yes I saw your thread in the abuse section... it's not an uncommon urge for people who have expirianced SA... but please do try to resist, that area is very sensitive and a great deal of damage could be done so easily

no that makes sense... it's just that area could really get damaged very badly, it's a lot more sensitive than say arms or legs are...

I do think that you should mention this to your psych/CPN, especially if it's a relitivly new urge

You need to tell them. It would be unproffesional of them to laugh at you.

it's natural to be embarrassed... but as I say it's not an uncommon urge for those who have been through SA, so the chances are they'll have heard of people doing it before

maybe spend some time writing down what to say? it may distract you and sort of focus you on something other than cutting
