How do you pronounce these words?

Caramel: 3 syllables

Creek: like meek

Aunt: ant

Is it Soda or Pop? pop

Is it a teeter-totter or a see-saw? teeter totter

Is it a sofa or couch? couch.. but chesterfield is not unheard of. =p

Is it a garage sale or a rummage sale? Garage Sale or yard sale

Is it sneakers or tennis shoes? sneakers usually refer to converse or chuck taylors. otherwise they're just all called shoes, or runners

Is it Soda or Pop? Soda, though I'll occassionally say pop, as my gradma does

Is it a sofa or couch? Both, though I tend to say couch more often

Is it a garage sale or a rummage sale? Garage or yard

Is it sneakers or tennis shoes? Sneakers or gym shoes

Aunt like the bug (although some aunts are aunties, again like the bug... Ant-ies)
I say:
Pop, not soda.
Teeter-totter AND see-saw. I go back and forth.
Usually couch, unless it is a very nice couch when it magically becomes a sofa.
I either say garage sale or yard sale.
Running shoes, not sneakers or tennis shoes.

I also say:
Poh-TAY-toe not Poh-TAT-toe
Ta-MAY-toe not Toe-MAH-toe
:)

Aunt (like ant or like want) Um, I don't get the want/aunt thing. I pronounce it like arnt... is that the same as the want way?

Its neither, Its called what it is.... Coke, Fanta, Lemoande etc.

See-Saw

Couch.

Garage.

Is it sneakers or tennis shoes?
For me, Trainers or Runners, Sometimes Sports shoes....

Is it Soda or Pop? not sure that i have ever said either... usually just use brand names

Is it a teeter-totter or a see-saw? see-saw (I wasn't aware that a teeter-totter was the same thing I thought it was one of those things that you sit on on top of like a giant spring)

Is it a sofa or couch? once again not sure i have ever used either word... I would normally say seat or chair for anything that you sit on

Is it a garage sale or a rummage sale? garage sale

Is it sneakers or tennis shoes? neither... trainers I guess?
