Yeah the more the merrier. Thanks for your support!! My head is just like AGH!!!! It's like there's 2-3 of us. A child, me and a psychopathic child- who wants to murder and steal and smash people up, and self destruct . I've been doing ok at staying safe though: just focusing on other things, being supervised and trying to stay calm and focused on the bigger picture. Has anyone got any other advice?
P.S can I have a yellow crayon please?

Hello there, dear. :)
I wouldn't say that I dissociate, but I do experience very similar things to what you are describing. Sometimes, I will think and act and speak very much like a little child, and I am completely aware of it yet just simply don't change it because I find it comforting. I think it can be a kind of coping mechanism. Thinking childlike can rid yourself of responsibilities for a little while.
Do you feel like you're receiving enough care? Family, friends or professionals-wise?

i feel like i'm receiving as much care as is possible at the moment. My CMHT see me every other week, which is a step up from never. And I see a GP every other week, my usual one is off sick.
my partner agreed that I do this a lot. I just, didn't think I would because i have states not personalities, but apparently i do it all the time. ANd I don't even notice or know about it.

hi. Not replied as not sure what to say but I have been reading. It sounds like you're at a similar point to me, I was almost diagnosed with DID but then they changed their mind as I don't quite hit to criterior. Anyway, like you I have the disconnected thoughts in my head and I have sort of child-like states, but they are not full blown personalities as such - though they do have names and sometimes I do lose large chunks of time.
It's confusing as it's a bit like being between disorders or something.
Anyway I have no real advice, just felt I should say something

Thanks for your input; it's good to know I'm not the only one. I think it's the same with me, I dont *quite* hit the criteria so I'm stuck inbetween. And it's confusing when I get into these "states".
I've been struggling a lot with dual mind sets. Telling me to OD and whatnot.
My child keeps coming out a lot too, especially she I get stressed or hyper. They said my diagnosis was within an EUPD diagnosis, do you think that means my "states" are mood dependant???
Thanks for your replies, xx
