For me and my boyfriend and baby
£155 rent
£60-80 on food, baby milk nappies and general household stuff
£20 gas and electric
£30 eatting out or takeaways
That's a lot but its due to go up because we are moving to a bigger flat
I don't budget I just spend, the last couple of weeks of the month are usually very sad.
I do this however being a student my money is meant to last me 4 months. It rarely lasts me one. :( I spend when I am feel rubbish!
*consults inaccurate budget sheet* I have written down around £40-50 per week but this includes clothes, uni books etc but normally just gets spent on junk food :/

Same here. The only think I do do is save by direct debit (for a rainy day) otherwise it would never happen and I worry about life's emergencies and like to have a bit of a safety net.
I live at home so I live on only £20 a week. my dad calls it rent.
I just can't afford to move out. But I hate living at home. It feels embarrassing at my age. Even though I know more people are living at home into their 30's (thank you recession) I still sometimes feel I should have moved out by now. At least into a flat share.
The two important things my money goes to each month are my subscription to bizarre magazine and my mobile phone bill. Other than that i just waste it on sweets, dvd's, books etc.
I try and budget myself. But I only manage it for a few weeks.
I think, because i had such little money while growing up, i just feel I want to enjoy it while I have it. Because otherwise it would vanish on dull stuff like bills and the like.

I cant take place in this cause I dont know the conversion to dollars. but I figure about 10-15 a week for food, about 80 for gas, and then that about it.
Take me away, I just want out from this self-imprisoned self-made Hell. Don't be surprsed, this is your mind coming to life by self-sacrifice. This tragedy of death will walk hand in hand with every thought of regret. Blame yourself for what you've become. The mind is a powerful thing set to self-destruct.

Thanks to Student Finance massively screwing up my application, I have about £13-14 a week to live on at the moment. Thankfully I live on campus so I don't have to spend much on travelling and the supermarket is in walking distance, so I just about cope.
We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken
I'm confused. Is this how much we spend a week, or how much we have to spend in a week?
Either way, my gf and I live off her disability income, so sometimes our outgoings try to be more than our means - but here's to paying off bills in two/three goes!

This stood out it pretty much describes how I feel.
We pay uhm €36 rent.
€30 towards the overdraft.
€30-40 food including the four cats and the dog.
€25 petrol.
And nesrly every week there is a minimum of €17-50 on bills (electricity, fuel, phones, net, tv, etc etc).
Some weeks it varies a little. I'd say we spend more amonth on the animals and bills then anything. Hmm.

I'm basically the opposite... as I have had nothing I am terrified of having nothing again so I find it hard to spend money
I voted for £71-80 but dividing the mobile phone bill into 4 for weekly would make it £85. It's how much I budget per week - not necessarily all of that gets spent, but how much I could get by on to live is easily quite a bit less than that.
Though it's £50 pw this month as I had to pay for exams I'm taking in the summer. And I've been spending too much on gym visits as I don't want to commit to a membership so pay each time instead. Was really pleased to see that one of those £16 pcm no contract etc. etc. gyms is opening near me soon :)
Stop thinking about what I want, what he wants, what your parents want. What do you want?
I'm living off JSA atm which is about £50 a week. I still live with mum but used to pay £250 a month rent before I became unemployed, so give her as much of my JSA as I can. It's about 1/5 of what I used to earn so I've had to become VERY careful about my spending!

Awesome.
Forgot to add: they're 24hour. And if you're someone who travels the country for work, for an extra £1 a month you can be a member at every single one.
