I'm sure there is a good reason for onyx's dispicable behaviour, and I agree with tyler, I bet she's been around a good while, just not making herself known.

Ww have one called HIM in our system who does what Onyx does. Do you know why Onyx acts this way?

Well by saying she's been about for a few days I mean she's only been known for a few days. I don't doubt that we've all been around for a lot longer a few weeks/months.

I'm not sure who I can recruit though... Blue is only young... Ayka and Crystal are destructive forces as well but not as much as Onyx... Holly and Sapphire seem to be "on their own" and won't get involved with anyone but each other, plus Holly's only 11/12, and Sapphire... Well she seems young.

I could ask Jasmine, see if she can help. I'd try to find Skye but she hasn't been around recently.

I'm not sure why Onyx acts this why... I'm not sure what she wants or why she feels that she has to act this way

It's not that they don't like Onyx, they are indifferent to her. But they're being considerate though, they're not causing Kathryn any grief right now.

I'll see what I can do with them.

for us a lot of the self-destructive ones are so for specific reasons, most due to believing aspects of what abusers said... And HIM essentially became an abuser but on the inside (if that makes sense). Maybe Onyx believes that the body or one in the system "deserves" to be hurt? Or maybe they are trying to teach you to be stronger by doing these things (Michelle did that for a bit) ?

ye that is also a possibility... maybe they are trying to get others to take notice of something and feel that the only way they will be taken seriously is to cause hurt?

It's not just SI'ing though, she's trying to bring Kathryn down in every way possible.

If you read what she writes in our r/v thread then you'll see that she's trying desperately to break down Kathryn, but doesn't give reasons... And she won't talk to any of us.

It's Ayka that tries to teach Kathryn to be stronger... What Onyx does are just mindless threats and words.

Kitkat: Remind her she has no place to do that, remind her that the system is stronger than her. If she doesn't co-operate then more extreme measures could be taken. Mercy had to be 'locked in her room' for a while whilst she did the same thing not just to Sophie and the other alters in that system but to her family and friends too.

i think all the above suggestions are fairly valid. I'm not sure if i'm right, but i think that Amy can be a little bit like 'if i hurt physically people will see how much i'm hurting emotionally', though i'm not sure it's her sometimes and not shadow trying to take her over. Shadow's a nasty peice of work, tries to be all of us, sometimes tries to control us all when we're out. I'm rambling again. sorry I will get used to this.

hm, that reminds me. Is it "normal" to sometimes when you are "out"/"at the front" for others to sort of be able to "take over" aspects of the body? like for example if I try to go out but Sarah or rachel are scared to it's like they are able to physically stop the legs from moving...

Ah I haven't seen what Sapphire's written, but Kathryn has.

Kathryn hasn't really grasped the concept of how to give them all attention so they are content... She's having a bit of trouble in that aspect, because some of them, like Sapphire, are too nervous to come out in public and have their own time.

Onyx has just told me that she has been around since Kathryn got her first hamster, which was in year 4... She used to torture it and do mean things to it.

She has a lot of issues.

Well Hazel, I know it happens to us, in a weird way. Ramiel can be in control of the mind whilst one of the others in moving the body, and vica-versa..Infact, 'Miel sometimes holds back sarah when she's out because she can get a bit physical. 'Miel also makes kat lay down on the floor and not move, she has the mind, but he has the body, stopping her from doing anything and just calming the whole system down. Shadow gets into Amy's mind a lot, because she's quite badly hurt, and 'it' tries to make her do things, it's almost as if she's possessed. Rosie sometimes gets kat to help her type, so i guess my long winded answer is yes.

? I'm glad that you may find something helpful. I am not very good at this, I just open my mouth (well type) and can't stop at the moment, it's like i have so much to tell.

If you feel that you have so much to tell, then there's probably a good chance that what you say will be of importance and use to someone.
