Where on your body do you SH??
My toes. Or my nose. Or my fluffy eyebrows.

Do you bandage it up??
Yes. I have a Rudolph-esque bandage for my nose. As it's Christmas I may make it flash with some fairy lights.
As for me toes, I ignore them as I wear socks.
I do not wish to go into details about how I deal with my poorly eyebrows.

Why did you start??
Because somebody didn't like me.

When Did You Start and Stop??
Tomorrow and Yesterday.

No. In all seriousness. Why are you asking this? Do you want help stopping or new ideas with which to harm yourself?
Please see your doctor. You need some help with dealing with these feelings.

- rule-breaking
- rule-breaking
- no, because I'm a lazy arse
- for attention. Needless to say that ended badly and I consistently lost friends because of it over the next few years and am left with a body covered in scars and minus my place on a medical degree.
- I started when I was 18, stopped when I was 21.
You say later that you want to know how to self harm safely. We can't answer that here, because of the rules. I'll say what I think is probably within the rules, and that is to not self harm and try distraction techniques instead. If you do self harm, make sure it is all kept clean, and seek medical treatment if wounds need closing or seem infected.
3. it depends, sometimes I do as part of a sort of "self care" ritual, other times I don't as I feel I don't deserve it
4. I can't really remember, probably for a totally different reason from why I still do it
5. Rather not say when I started, and I haven't stopped yet (I'm 25)
as for how to be safe, well NO SELFHARM is safe, it's ALL got risks. But I guess try to be sensible about it, keep wounds clean, et medical attention when needed, and get into treatment (councelling, etc) sooner rather than later. Also there are alternatives like holding ice that cause the same pain/release as self-harm but don't cause the same damage/injuries, but these don't work for everyone, nor forever... eventually no alternative will suffice, but it's best not to get to that point
Do you know what would be fun? Let's all sit round and discuss the best ways to destroy ourselves!
Or not.
Please, read the rules. We can give you the information as to how to take proper care of your injuries; it's in the articles on the main site. We will not tell you what to use or where to hurt yourself.
Personally, I started as a way of controlling something in my life when everything was mental. I started when I was 11, I stopped at 20.
You have been offered so much support on all of your threads, please do the rest of the members on this site who are struggling a favour, and try to take it in and use it.

I still think the world would be better off without me Some people, when they hit rock bottom, they dont have that person in their lives to pick them back up The mirror can lie, it doesnt show you whats on the inside. I dont think im fixed, people think that your like a car in a body shop, you go in, they fix you and your out, you work like your brand new, it doesnt work like that at all Sometimes i dont understand my self. Im not strong enough and im tired of pretending i am.
Question 1+2 no answer
Question 3- Nope, I don't take care of them, which I advise agai8nst.
Question 4- A mixture of traumatic events led to it.
Question 5- aged 15/16 free for a few years, 17-21 stoped for a year, 22-24 stopped for 6 months, and started again recently. Which I am not proud about.
