eg The Pill. Well one of them.
I just started taking it today and I'm a bit anxious (I wanted the IUS but my GP doesn't like giving it unless you've had a kid so I reluctantly agreed to do this first). Some of the side effects are
So yeah some input on what your experiences with it have been. I'm more worried about the nausea, headaches, weight changes, fluid retention and mood changes listed as side effects (I want the bigger boobs though ).
But yeah, any input would be awesome!

I was on it a while ago and never had any problems with it at all. No side effects or nasties :)

I'm on Yaz, and have had no side effects. Maybe a little weight gain but that's also probably cause of the tegratol and it's slowly decreasing as I start eating healthy and such. I do notice a lot of spotting when I start the first cycle of it. It's been a pain cause I had to restart the cycle due to not being able to take the yaz while in the hospital. But yeah, otherwise it's been fine. so try not to be too anxious. :)
I was on microgynon for years and had absolutely no trouble at all! I found it to be really good :) I switched pills a couple of years ago because I think the microgynon was beginning to stop working as well for me or something *shurgs* But that was after being on it for yeeeears! So yeah, I had a good experience with it :) I hope it goes well for you, good luck! :)
I had to come off it because of the hideous side effects it gave me
Then went on another and that made me horrendously ill too =S
It's deff different on each individual though so yeah...

I was fine on it. Make sure, however, that if u are sick or have diahorea (sp?) u use another form of protection, ie condoms, for 7 days! U dont want to be caught out :D x
I have been on it for nearly 3 years and have been fine.
My little sister was on it briefly but it didn't control her cycle as it should of (or at all) so came of it and went on another pill which has done wonders for her.
Like all meds dont get dispondent if the first one doesnt work for you.
Microgynon made me put on a LOT of weight, I went from not feeling hungry ever and eating one meal a day to having to eat every few hours else I got so stroppy! But considering it made my periods manageable and like clockwork (before I went on it I was at the point where I couldn't move because my period pains were that bad) the pros outweighed the cons for ages. And it did make my boobs bigger too (admittedly they weren't small to start with though), but yeah, more size gain than just the weight gain would have given alone.
But you know, it doesn't happen to everyone, and overall, it was a great pill.

I was so para went i first started it but iv'e been on it two years and i've never had any negative side affects. Try not to stress to much or you'll make yourself ill then think its teh pill lol, honestly it is down to the individual, but personally no probs!
Lack of appetite I can deal with :P
Thanks for the input guys. I know pills affect everyone differently but still I'd read so many horror stories of people piling on weight (so NOT what I need) that I was (and still am) terrified.
It turned me absolutely crazy. Within a week I felt as depressed as I was at my worst. I didn't realise it was the pill, brought it up with the doctor and she put me on a different one (Cilest) instead. Within a few days of coming off the Microgynon I was back to normal.
But that's just me, I've only ever heard of one other person who had a similar experience. It doesn't mean it'll happen to you! Just know to watch out for it :)

I was on microgynon and the only side effect I started really getting was pains in the front and back of my legs, which when taken off this went away. I had no other side effects but due to the pains being severe was taken off it.
I was then put on a different pill which gave me the same pains in the back of my legs, so I was told it's likely that I can't take any of the pills, so stopped that too.
Overall, apart from those pains, I had no side effects on either, and would recommend it. I hope it works well for you.
