yime of year basically I think :/

but really it's just another day, the year changing is no big deal nothing special really.. so us slipping up today shouldn't be any worse than any other day... that's how I'm trying to rationalise it anyway...

me three *hugs* oh well to be honest another calendar year doesn't really mean that much.. it would be a bit of a cliche to stop at the start of a new year.. hmm yeah I don't know what I'm saying..

*Hugs* Dont beat yourself up, i know its easy to say dont beat yourself up, but seriously it will only make things worse for you. Slipping up is all part of recovery and it doesnt mean your back to square one or anything like that.

Take care all the best Ian

Everyones right just look at it as another normal day not the new year. What is a year anyway just some lable someone has given time.

Forget the risk and take the fall if it's what you want it's worth it all

The same problem comes with new year resolutions. They are usually unmanagable and very difficult to stick to and when someone 'slips up' they often give up completely. For example, people wanting to go on a diet. They have two biscuits, decide that oh god they've failed and they dont get back on the diet horse for another 364 days.

Dont put unrealistic pressure or expectations on yourselfs guys, ok?! No-one is perfect, we all make mistakes and the more you dwell on what youve done and beat yourself up the worse you will feel.

If you don't put pressure on yourself not to do it in the first place then you won't feel so bad when you do. I think it's better to just let it go if you end up cutting as whether you were wanting to stop or not it happens so the more at ease with it you are the better you'll feel.
