I googled 'self harm support' and RYL was a fair way down but the description... well was wrong!

A bit of an over-reaction here. You got the RYL page for links to others sites. The first link is for the Lysamena Project on Self Injury a Christian run site. The description your worried about goes to that link and not RYL. Your still safe.

but it just depends on the search term. Awareness is more likely to be used in newspaper articles about self harm.whereas if you use support instead of awareness RYL is second.
You say you typed in support but on that screen shot its awareness....

sorry you're right i tapped in awareness, but if it's coming up with RYL can't we have a standard 'blurb' which goes under the link regardless of what page it actually finds? if i was looking for a site like this i might be put off by that description alone... then you wouldn't have my blonde eyebrow-wriggling-balloon-squeaking-posting self about here, can't have that can we?

But as soon as someone clicked the link theyd see what it was referring to.....so i dont get the problem

If someone wasn't really paying attention, that would throw them off. Try googling your own username and you might see stuff come up under it on google that you didn't say, but someone else on the same thread said.
