if someone isn't treating you like a normal person (which you are, doesn't matter what disabilities you have), don't be around them, or confront them. if professionals are treating you like that (i've had that happen), you need to complain. but i know what you mean. i was registered with disability for mental illness when i went to university and i felt like if i told anyone they'd see me as less, not the same as them. or like if i tell them about the fact that i get psychotic they'll just think i'm crazy and that they need to treat me different. but i figure if someone really cares, they wont do that. but i agree with everyone else. scream if you need to. it's much better than hurting yourself. can you talk to a counselor about how you're feeling? maybe they can help.
as for your ex, if he starts bothering you, you can do something about it... change your number and if he harrasses you, report it. i also know that if you're with magellan you can talk to case managers and stuff there. they can help you out with that type of problem.
