I have discovered an online counselling service, run by professionals who hold degrees social work and psychology and work as counsellors in real life.
The site is totally free, and all you need to do is register. Everything is kept confidential, and security measures are in place to help this.
You make an appointment with a counsellor (usually a few days ahead of the dateyoure on the site), which lasts for an hour (most counselling sessions are an hour long anyway).
I hope this can be of some use to people who are not currently seeing anyone, or have not quite got the confidence to go to the doctors.
P.S - When registering, if you are in the UK, don't leave a space in your postcode as it wont accept it.
And if you cant find the confirmation email check your junk/spam folder

We enjoy warmth because we have been cold. We appreciate light because we have been in the darkness. By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness.
I'd been looking for something like this, but seeing it's fomr singapore, well...I don't know if it'll work. Thanx though.
"...that incremental suicide of turning your life into a dream, to make being awake as similar to sleep as possible. Drowsily, lazily, dry-mouth your way through the day's ceremonies, fumble your way back into the dew-bather you never really left, draped in brown, brown now all around, the haze!" - Russell Brand on drug addiction.

Laura, thank you! I have been looking for this page for a while! (Ever since someone else from here wanted an online counselling page) I've only ever used it a couple of years ago but it certianly works, and it tells you how many hours till your appointment, so if you're in a different timezone you can count the hours.
Woah, I still remember my username and password! *grins*
Thanks for pointing this out, I appreciate it!
Aimee xoxo
Also, in regards to what redsox have said, Kidshelpline (for Australian members) does ask for your age at the beginning when you log in, and it's only open for certian hours.

if somebody uses this some time soon, like gets an appointment and talks to somebody, could they just post an update and let us know when they used it and sort of how it worked/what happened? pretty please?
