Housing
Okay,
I hate where I'm living right now. I've been there less than two months and I need to get out of there.
I didn't want to move in there in the first place, but it was either that or homelessness.
I'm in a shared house with 10 other people (converted chapel, which is why so many) and it's too much to bear with. I've met about half of them and I've not really got to know any of them because I have too many problems socially with strangers to really put myself in the living room where most of them hang out en masse. It's making me more depressed and giving me more distress than I know how to deal with, as well as making other things like my SH more frequent.
I'm scared to be around my own home sometimes. It's not good, plus people keep taking things of mine from the fridge, which would be trivial if I could afford to let other people use my things, or if I didn't have such a hard time leaving the house to cross the road to go to the shops. Over the last two days I've had about two litres of milk taken from me. The kitchen is always a mess (there were flies buzzing around it last week) and that's actually never been my fault because I keep my own cutlery and plates and things in my own room, and wash them as needed in the sink in my own room, if I've been in at all.
I don't know what to do. I'm on a six month contract which means I could realistically just wait out the next four months, doing what I've been doing to cope which is usually either hanging out at my partners place or having her come to mine, but it's throwing me off when I really need things to be more stable. Ideally I'd move in with someone I know, but none of my friends are in a position to offer that. I'd move in with someone I know because I can't afford a place on my own in an area that doesn't give me panic attacks to walk around.
I need help with this, and I don't really know who to turn to. I need a way out and a way to get a place I actually feel safe and like living in.
