answer 1 and 2 would be breaking rules.

3. it depends, sometimes I do as part of a sort of "self care" ritual, other times I don't as I feel I don't deserve it

4. I can't really remember, probably for a totally different reason from why I still do it

5. Rather not say when I started, and I haven't stopped yet (I'm 25)




as for how to be safe, well NO SELFHARM is safe, it's ALL got risks. But I guess try to be sensible about it, keep wounds clean, et medical attention when needed, and get into treatment (councelling, etc) sooner rather than later. Also there are alternatives like holding ice that cause the same pain/release as self-harm but don't cause the same damage/injuries, but these don't work for everyone, nor forever... eventually no alternative will suffice, but it's best not to get to that point
