I think going to your GP would be a good plan.

It could be dissociative based, but it also could be many other things. Generally speaking if it was some form of "splitting" (I hate calling it that,not sure why) through dissociation then you would have other syptoms, and you would probably have huge gaps in your memory during childhood. As for the unreal feelings, it's like feeling as if you are on a seperate plane of existence to everything else, feeling sort of disconnected from yor body, also odd feelings of knowing people or things on an interlectural level but not really recognising them... like wlking into a room where there is a woman who you don't know, you know and feel nothing of her, but at the same time you know that it's your mother/sister/friend/whatever. Actually just remembered the way people often describe it tat makes a lot of sense, it's like living in a dream or maybe a film, like been on autopilot.


but anyway. Noone here can diagnose you. You really need to go see a doctor and possibly a psych for that
