Anything cheaper than bio oil?

Hi, I want to buy some bio-oil to reduce scars and stretch marks, does anybody know anything cheaper and as effective? Has anyone tried bio-oil or (one other I found called 'rescue oil'), how good were they? Some of my scars are from 6 or 7 years ago, will it reduce these as well?

Thank you,
Han x

I've tried bio oil and found it didnt help much at all...

what works for one person may not work for another... it really just depends on their skin type and that I think...

Hope you find something that works well.

Anything with vitamin E will help reduce scars.

If you look in a chemist there is usually at least one alternative to Bio Oil next to it. I have seen one but haven't tried it, and I can't remember the name of it.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

The Boots own stretch mark cream is apparently really good (it'll be in with the pregnancy aids) for scars of all ages.

Vitamin E oil from Holland and Barrett's worked wonders on mine and was like half the price of bio oil!
works amazingly on more recent as well.

At Home Bargains they have another thing that is on the shelf near the bio-oil that I think is called repair oil. It was much cheaper and is the same stuff.

Vitamin E oil is great :) You can buy it in the oil form, or break open Vitamin E capsules.

Thank you for all of your help and support. I will no longer be coming to RYL. Semi-explanation will be inside my profile.

I'm a fan of vitamin E oil, too. It's cheap and works well for me.
