same as adam i would love to go again but last year just didn't seem worth the monney compared to previous years. I'm really considering bloodstock this year

Kiss played last year. For some reason that is the only one that sticks out in my head...mainly because they were the only reason I went. Skindred were pretty good last year. Airbourne were epic! That's about all I can remember. Not a good sign.

I'm only going this year if Motley Crue play.

It's going to have gone up another £10 as well which seems to be a bit of a pattern. Totally not worth that amount of money.

It was actually the best part of Download that year. Airbourne owned it.

Excpet for the fact that the layout was changed therefore the second stage was set up on concrete?! And not under a giant tent :( Unimpressed. Kind of ruined Airbourne atmosphere slightly lol

^mmmhmmm....I couldn't understand why they weren't headlining. Although the set wasn't that epic, but yeah, should have replaced Lost Prophets at least

Okay looking at that list, the lineup (main stage aside) wasn't actually as bad as I remember. There's only like 3 bands across the mainstage that I would actually see though.. the rest of it was *****!

I wouldn't have gone to see Judas Priest or Kiss, because I cannot stand them.

However. If I knew the line up for the last day I would've gone, just to see Coheed & Cambria, Lostprophets & Apocolyptica

I wana go but its a bit far. Wish we could get a rock festival up here.

T in the park is a joke-i went once. Full of neds and indie kids and i was like arrrrrgh let me out of heeeere. BUUT i saw placebo so yay! Other than that we have Connect or 'Rock'ness which doesnt rock.

Neways the point of that was:: download = wana go. BUT they could just give us a bloomin rock fest up here and stop pretending T is rock

Lamb of God and Heaven & Hell have apprently self confirmed for Download 09.

I really want Motley Crue to play too - that would actually be amazing. Maybe Alice Cooper aswell?

ah yes Alice Cooper would be amazing!!!! Fingers crossed but unlikely I assume...then again he would be promoting an album so mayhaps.

I saw Lamb Of God in '07. They...were...amazing!!

I'm massively hoping for AC/DC as well but I think that would already be a rumour if they were likely to play.
