English Goodies!

As some of you may or may not know, I recently moved to London.

And I dare say it's time for an introduction in to some of the tastiest things to eat! I have already discovered Jammy Dodgers and Jaffa Cakes, but what else do people recommend?

You know, I LOVE Irn Bru! It tastes exactly like this fizzy drink that you could only get in certain parts of Australia! Good call :)

A real, good, proper roast dinner.
Beef, roast potatoes, cabbage, yorkshire puddings made by a yorkshireman,
peas, parsnips, carrots and thick gravy. (Vegetables can change according to taste, but everything else is a must!)

The Ded man and I may have to come and make you both some as we do have THE best reputation for roasts.
(Husband being the yorkshireman).

Iz x

Oh oh!
And then you need sponge and custard.
It can be vanilla sponge, or spotted dick (I bet you're lol-ing), or any sponge you like and thick, slightly lumpy, custard.

That's what I call a sunday!

Iz x

P.S: I can make sponges too!

Jam roly poly.
Marks and Sparks' have the most jam!

Mashed potato. With my dad's gravy. [Well, the kind of gravy he used to make, before mum got put on a low cholesterol diet]
