As some of you may or may not know, I recently moved to London.
And I dare say it's time for an introduction in to some of the tastiest things to eat! I have already discovered Jammy Dodgers and Jaffa Cakes, but what else do people recommend?
Fish and chips from colmans fish shop is south shields (near newcastle) it is officially the best fish and chip shop in england. we go far far too often.
i like jammy dodgers but i dont think they have enough jam in them!
mince and dumplings? corned beef pie/pasties.
this is hard because i dont know what you didnt have in Aus!
A real, good, proper roast dinner.
Beef, roast potatoes, cabbage, yorkshire puddings made by a yorkshireman,
peas, parsnips, carrots and thick gravy. (Vegetables can change according to taste, but everything else is a must!)
The Ded man and I may have to come and make you both some as we do have THE best reputation for roasts.
(Husband being the yorkshireman).

Oh oh!
And then you need sponge and custard.
It can be vanilla sponge, or spotted dick (I bet you're lol-ing), or any sponge you like and thick, slightly lumpy, custard.
That's what I call a sunday!

P.S: I can make sponges too!
