What are your views/opinions etc on Britney? Is she genuinely troubled? Why? Is it all a publicity stunt?
Did she deserve to have her kids taken away?
I was so shocked to find out that her little sister Jamie-Lynn Spears - is pregnant. She's 16. I used to watch her on 'Zoey 101' & think she was so sweet & she looks so much like Britney!

i think people should back off britney. i dont like her much, but she needs some well deserved space and time to recover. she has been in the public eye for years now and we have all watched her marriage fail and her life and well being deteriorate. yet the press continues to hound her. its wrong.
i dont really see a problem with her sister being pregnant, but i guess that might be because the age of consent here is 16, not 17 like it is there.

I think she's genuinely a bit messed up right now and needs help, I also think that her kids needed to be taken away for their safety. I rarely think kids should be seperated from their parents, but she's been heading down a bad road that won't end well for anyone. As Raven said, I think the tabloids need to back off and leave her alone. She's not a pop star any more, she's just another struggling parent who needs to be allowed time and space to pick herself up and get on with life without being judged every step of the way.
I think as well as the public leaving her alone,she herself needs to take the steps towards sorting her head out.
Im not her biggest fan but I do feel sorry for her that she lost her kids and I think no matter how hard she tries shes going to get bad press always.Its hard enough to have children taken away from you,let alone have it splashed all over the media.I do feel sorry for her kids.
And Jamie Lynn seems to be joining a line of celebrity women who seem to be having babies as some kind of accessory....just my opinion though :)

Well that was a pretty stupid thing to do, don't mean to offend people who've had kids at 16 but I think some of you will agree. The ways in which she behaves is quite irratic. Now....i'm not into labeling things as 'normal', but i think we can all conclude that some behaviours hold preferable outcomes, and some of her's are not the best of behaviours. Poor girl though, man...

I don't like Britney. Never did. Celebrities today have way too much money and they don't know what to do with it all. I think it's just a scheme for her to spend it all. With all her crazy antics I do think she needed to have her children removed from her custody. She's plainly an unfit mother. As for her little sister Jamie. She's not a good role model for children anymore, and her show need's to be canceled.
I think the media should leave Britney alone...

Anyway,, my opinion, she is messed up, she has got problems, but she also had a hand in making her problems when she attracts so much attention from the media with her silly antics, she has no shame, clearly, and I think she has degraded herself.
As for her kids, I am glad they are off her hands, tbh, some of the things she has done, driving with them on her lap, well thats playing into the courts hands to take them off her. She was careless and stupid.
I think she is very unhappy though, the way she has been brought up, the experiances she has had, I think they have made her into a attention hungry person, and she feels the need to always be doing something, bad or good, to have the attention she craves.
Im sure there is a part of her that has so many regrets, but so long as she craves any kind of attention, she wont mend herself, basically her priorities need to change dramatically
Oh and I used to think she was ok, but now I would be rather scaired to meet her, I would hope I could help her, cos I feel sorry for her, she has been given too much freedom and money, yet no guidence as to what to do with it, else she hasnt listened, *shrugs* I spose she needs people to tell her what she can and cant do right now, so I dont think any of the things legally ect that have happened are wrong or bad.

It was all too much too young for britney. She was thrust into the public eye at 15, and even younger if you count the mickey mouse club thing. She's been through a lot yeah, but some she brought on herself and some her family caused (by allowing her the public attention at such a young age). I personally think she is very unwell at the moment, and is in desperate need of psychiatric treatement.
As for her sister, all that money and she couldnt afford a condom????? shes a very silly little girl!

I think she's missing something big in her life and doesn't know where to find it nor how to cope with it. She needs to be given the chance to find herself and get a grip.
