hi their well its been a long while since ive done a post i have made it over five months without self harming but lately ive been really struggling with urges, i just feel so close to relapsing, not doing well socially, feel like i have got pretty much no one at the minute, did not realise how hard it is to try and find that person you can rely on

so close

right i dont think i can fight it much longer, i cant seem to move on from someone who i was friends with a good five years i go, i still get so upset about it, i regret some things i said but it was out of anger
i just wish one day she would get in touch with me and we would be able to fix things

I'm sorry you feel this way. Can you think of any ways to try to move forward from this? Could you maybe write a letter to her expressing your feEling and try to say goodbye?

First off well done on being free for five months, that is awesome

In that time, what distractions and coping skills have helped you getting through without harming as I imagine you have had some urges in that time?

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so isolated right now. Is there anyone professionally that you can reach out to?

Is it how things are socially that is causing you to have urges or something else? We are here if you want to talk through your urges.

How are you doing now?

We all say things we regret in anger sometimes, but it sounds like things are still very difficult to move on from. What do you think would help with that? Would it be worth writing your friend a letter to explain your actions and apologise for what you said, to see if there's any chance you could start again?

If that's not possible, what might help you to feel less fixated on this at the moment?

5 months without self-harming is such a great achievement, so well done for that firstly! Can you identify anything that's made the urges stronger at the moment?

What's helped in the last 5 months to prevent you from acting on the urges?

It sounds like you're feeling pretty alone at the moment, have you got anyone you can talk to in 'real life' about your feelings?
