Not quite sure if this is where to ask this, but what are your thoughts of thinking you are the only sane one.
There are times I do feel like I'm they only sane one, or logical one. I sometimes wonder if others even think before doing some things. How can some one do something a 100 times, but then forget how to do it, or need help with it.
I'm curious if anyone else feels this and what are others thoughts on it. Thanks

Reason: misspelled word
All the most sane people know they are a little crazy. The craziest people don't know that they are crazy.
All u said was a very generic quote, rather than a true thought of your own or even some kind of explanation to why you think this. I can read quotes any where.

Oh no its a true thought of my own. Its probably a generic quote too to being that its true
Jack is right: Most people who think they're the sane ones probably aren't.
Human beings are irrational: Unfortunately people can do things a lot of times before realising their faults. People act on instinct over logic, and logic over reasoning - and these things combined tend not to end well.
I often feel surrounded by crazy (just look at the Daily Mail readership across the world), but the interesting thing for me is to take a step back and ask why people feel like that. Why do people respond in such a way, and what makes their judgement? Regularly, it's not down to logic, it's emotive - which in itself is an entirely justifiable reasoning, although not rational.
This doesn't help you right now, but perhaps start to think about what riles you up and what you think rationality is vs those around you.
In general I am less confident than ever that I understand some of these abstract ideas regarding states of mind(maybe this is called overthinking). Sanity vs. Insanity, Intelligence vs. Stupidity, intuition vs logic. They all make relative sense as coherent concepts, but life is much larger and more fluid than these little patterns we can find it. You look at one aspect of life/reality, understood through a particular lens, and you can fall into an impossibly narrow perception of what is happening in general.
I'm not really sure where I was going with that, but this could be a very broad topic. I hope it didn't seem like I was going for the particular angle of describing sanity as a relative thing; just trying to communicate my own sense of confusion and further fuel the discussion.

Well you highlighted a conflict. Humans have an intellect and can manipulate knowledge but these should be secondary to intuition and understanding. Knowledge and learning should be extensions of an objective/perceptive state. Animals don't need to "analyse" who or what they are - they just are. It's people who fall into their own machinery trying discover their identity by thinking themselves into being. Unfortunately the more people think too much the more anxiety they get (because they are falling away from themselves inside).
Most "mental" problems begin as emotional problems. Reactions open the door to Neverland (and PTSD) and thoughts rise in storms as the consciousness gets pulled down to earth. Indeed some of the most disordered people have prodigious intellects/memories. A lot of "geniuses" begin as broken people (who often lose awareness they are broken). A person struggling to find themselves should first stop analysing too much. Wondering and yearning for what's true (vs what rationalisation feels best) is the starting point. There is magic in that that the eggheads deny to people

Hahahaha, yes. Well, it would always be interesting to ask about sanity on a website full of people with mental illness.
I think that there's two things that can happen really. Like Jack said, if you're truly crazy then you don't realise it. You'd be blissfully ignorant most likely. It's called a lack of insight and most people who get sectioned have none. They believe they can fly, or that they hear special messages through their television and so on.
Also, if you firmly believe you're sane and it's EVERYONE ELSE who is wrong/crazy, then that generally also means it's you who is not quite sane.
Sanity is a continuum. We're all on it somewhere, it changes at different times. I don't think anyone is ever 100% sane.
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

People are messed up, they force and push and make you be and think what they want, they say one thing to make you agree then make another point to force a diff direction, then back to the first.
Er no your not messed up, all ppl morals and logic are ****ed they expect one form from you and yet 3 other personalities then they reject all, as you try to please. I don't get it they say dress pretty, ppl dress pretty then are called bad things, what do they want from me?
