Covering Scars?

Hey!
So I'm going on holiday in around 3/4 weeks to a hot country, but I have recently self-injured, and the mark has not yet gone down. Touchwood, none of my other cuts have scarred badly, one had left a tiny red mark, which due to a slightly strange skin condition I have, is barely noticeable, but I am worried that this one will scar, or just stay looking like a cut when I go away. I really don't want anyone to know (it's a big family holiday), but I will be having to wear bikinis and swimming costumes a lot so it would be really noticeable! Any help, aside from telling my parents? I don't feel ready for that yet.

(The cuts are on my outer upper thigh)

In a couple of words, get some board shorts or a bikini that has short-like bottoms.

Given enough tea I could rule the world.

I would, but mom already bought all my stuff for holidays, and we live too far away from the store she got them from to exchange them, plus she'd think it was a little strange, as I have been begging for this one bikini for months, I just didn't realize how high up it came

Could you get a sarong and wear that? they're quite light so won't make you too hot. Also a light pair of short?. Short of that there is not much you can do other than telling your parents or hoping they don't scar to badly.

I will love myself despite the ease with which I lean toward the opposite.

People are remarkably unobservant/unintuitive about self injury wounds in my experience. If it's one cut by itself chances are no one will suspect anything, and if they do ask, you can always put it down to slipping in the shower or something.

Hopefully this upcoming trip will be good motivation to try not to self inure any more?

No other sadness in the world would do

You should consult a dermatologist nearby you and take his/her advice for your scar and it could be treated cosmetically to be disappeared.

Try to smile and relax for good health. Hair transplant India

I have found bio-oil helps on scars as long as the scab has healed. Otherwise do you have a pet cat / dog you could blame?
