Since my partner moved out, I've been seriously penny pinching! I've found a bit of forward planning can go a long way - I try and buy in bulk for the month ahead (food, toiletries etc) because it works out cheaper. And if you're not too fussy on brands or specific scents, then you could always just get whatever is on offer. That way I spend maybe £50 at the start of the month and just spend a few pounds here and there on things that don't necessarily keep for long (fruit, meat etc). What's your freezer like? I know it might seem obvious but making big batches of something then freezing it is always good.
I've also started keeping every £2 coin I receive in change. It sounds silly, but it's amazing how you don't notice them in your purse but when you make a point of collecting them, you can save a lot of money and use it at the end of the week/month for things you need. Feels much better than breaking a tenner, too!
Maybe speak to your energy supplier too? I pay my bills by direct debit and they recommended £70 standing order a month was average. When I recently got in touch it turned out I've paid £120 more than I had needed to over the past 8 months. Worth a shot?
Invest in a slow cooker if you dont have one. That means you can cook the cheaper cuts of meat really slowly, and they end up super tasty. They dont take much electricity to run (usually about the same as an light bulb) and the bonus is that you have a hot tasty meal waiting for you when you come in from work.

Shopping makes me happy too... But it isn't deep, real happiness [though it is part of taking care of my body and appearance - food and clothes]. Perhaps focusing on the relationships in your life might help - and thus there's less emptiness that you need to fill with clothes shopping.
On a bit of a serious note, there is good money in being a prostitute, but it's not worth the damage to self esteem or risk of bad stuff happening.
And then you get used to having that money and it gets addictive then something bad happens and you stop and then you don't have the money that you are used to getting and you get into **** with your bills.
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
Don't impulse buy things (I am seriously the worst for this!) lol so I'm not speaking from experience but I know if I didn't do this I would save heaps of money. I have heard that budgeting helps, writing down your expenses for each week, only buying necessities. Don't buy things unless you know you're going to use/need them. Selling things off when they're no longer used (i'm a terrible buyer and seller so do be careful you're not losing money by doing it too often). Sorry not the best of help, I'm shocking with money...lol
You need to figure out where your money goes. How much is going on essentials, how much is going on luxuries, and what do you have left at the end of the month?
Then you can start to cut down on the luxuries by budgeting. Some people like to take as much money as they need out at the start of week, others per day.
If you find you have loads going on food, cut it back. Batch cook, or buy cheaper things, or both. Are you spending loads on bills? Cut down usage.
You don't need to buy clothes, so cut it out altogether. Having a roof over your head is more important than having a nice jumper.
I have this problem too, I have stopped looking up stuff online cos I will like need to buy it all. I general, maybe you could look at where you shop, for example aldi and lidl have cheaper brands of almost everything at this stage. And Penneys (Primark) is great for cheap but good quality and fashionable clothes.
Try looking through this site, it sometimes has some useful ways to save extra cash. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/
Also if you wanna save more money, i use a site called http://www.approvedfood.co.uk/ which has bulk surplus from supermarkets, which it then in turn sells on to you at a much reduced cost, sometimes upto 80% off, specially when you get some of their multibuy offers. It saved a huge amount on my monthly food shopping.
Cuz we all spend half our time running around, f*cked out of our minds
And we spend the other half sleeping at desks and praying just to get back...
