Jam jar notes :)
So, I saw this idea on my friend's facebook newsfeed and decided that it was a good idea, I don't know if anybody wants to do it with me...
This January, why not start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year.
I put it on my facebook wall and quite a few people are doing it with me, thought it was a positive thing to put on ryl too :)

What a lovely idea! I like it.
Laurah, I'm sure it does not have to be a jam jar :P

That is a cute idea!
I've started this with notebooks before - aka 'the book of niceness' - but I forget to carry it on. A jam jar would be visible so I wouldn't forget.
& we can decorate it & such

Jenni, I like your thinking!
I think we should post pictures of our decorated jam jars and put them on the picture board :)

I love this idea. :)
To be honest, it would still be good to go through throughout the year and remind yourself of the good things.
It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go .
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell ,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell .

That's a really good idea. I might do it in my Tokio Hotel box instead of a jam jar cos I love that. I also think it's a good idea to look at it through the year.

OP, is it possible for you to make this in Moving Forward too? I think it would really help people. :)

You don't need glass paint either mix food colouring with pva glue or mix poster paint with pva glue.

Yes, I think thats the best way to do it because that way, even on the really bad days, you're forced to think of something good.

I just saw the same thing on the book of face and thought it could be useful for RYL people. I'd do it but know I'd never stick to it. Good luck though everyone. :)
Ride it out.

My brother also had the idea of sticking in 13 things you want to achieve this year (don't know if people feel if 13 is too many or not).
