Anyone ever been to a DBT group?

if so could you possibly enlighten to me as to what you do there?
i got kinda spaced out when the doc tried to explain it to me :/

i haven't been in DBT recently, its been about 3 years i think (i only did it when i was in inpatient, as it was the therapy that was offered). as i remember, it was a lot of learning skills to use when emotions are overwhelming. and some goal setting. it was broken up into different sections. there was a lot of focus on coping skills and interpersonal relationships (at least during the time that i was there, i guess they kind of rotated through the modules).

yes, it does... is that stressful for you? (it was for me... but it got easier and actually enjoyable the more that i did it)

slightly stressful, its weird i can talk to people like on here or on tumblr but face to face with strangers and i get all quiet and feel sick
