This is a slightly pointless post as I don't, BUT a friend of mine does. I know she has physiotherapy and it does help so I would recommend that and I also think she gets prescribed medication to help with the pain (I think it's just a stronger version of Ibruprofen). Could you ask your Doctor for any medication? She has also found doing gentle exercise can help. Sorry I know this was no help!

Have you ever looked fear in the face and said "I just don't care"?

I have it mildly but I do get pain in some joints from it. I also have a high tolerance to local anaesthetic whch poses some interesting issues during dental work and child birth! I also have possible rheumatoid arthritis which is apparently related? Anyhoo yes I do.
Are you on any pain meds to help it?

I got some meds from dr which were really strong version of ibuprofen but they hurt my tummy. I also click a lot and very loudly! I also have some torn tendons in my wrist which have made flappy bits that sometimes stop my wrist from moving.

I do
Didn't cause me problem until my knee got an initial injury then the hyper mobility made it constantly worse as my knees flex too far back as I walk
This may sound odd, but physio worked on making my knee less flexible and stronger
I also click a lot but not much you can do as far as I know!

There will always be a happy ending. If its not happy then its not yet the end.
