Advice
Hi, I'm wondering if its worth telling my mom that I keep feeling extremely low most days, for long periods of time. Without any warning I will go from feeling happy, to feeling extremely low. I'm very good at pretending so even if its to me "just a bad day" my friends and family don't know. But I'm slightly worried because everything I'm feeling and doing is exactly how my friend was before she got diagnosed with depression (i.e. constant headaches, struggling to sleep, rarely wanting to eat, lack of consentration, unable to sit still more than usual and my memory has dropped dramatically).
Any advice? And do you think its worth bring up with my mom or should I wait a little longer just to see if the feeling goes?

You're better than this. Breathe in. Breathe out. It'll be okay. I promise. Just don't forget to smile :)
The funny thing is,
nobody really ever knows how much
anybody is hurting.
We could be standing next to somebody,
who is completely broken,
and we wouldn't even know.

I think you should. Especially if these feelings have lasted longer than 2 weeks.
Good luck. xx

Certainly talk to her Even if it doesn't turn out to be depression, it usually helps just to get these things off your chest so you don't feel so alone with it.

Stop thinking about what I want, what he wants, what your parents want. What do you want?

Have you had a chance to speak to your mum yet about this? If not it is definitely worth it if you think she will be supportive of you

I haven't got round to speaking to my mom about it yet, she's having a really tough time at the moment. And unfortunately if anything serious arrises I lose most of my choices in the situation me and my mom are going through. She's getting rather suspicious though, aparently I'm becoming sercretive again. When this situation is over or I at least know the outcome of it I'll talk to her. But thanks for the advice.

If you'd like to chat you're more than welcome to pm me. Sometimes talking to someone neutral outside a difficult situation is helpful.

Always saying how you feel is important, whether you're happy or sad IMO. No one wants you to suffer and if they can help they would, you'll be surprised just how many people actually care about you :D If you can't talk to your mom at the moment try speaking to a friend you trust.
