Cleaning

I clean like a mad women when I'm triggered to SI. I dont really know why but i use tons of bleach and wash the dishes and scrub my hands till they bleed...Wouldn't that be SI? did i already fail when i was trying to distract myself.

I just noticed today when i did it that my hands where burning like all hell and i looked down to find my fingers where blood red and some even bleeding a little. >.> Sometimes i wonder why i even try to stop.
Anyway quest is do you do this as well?

i wouldnt clas that as SI as you were trying to prevent harm.

It almost sounds like OCD to me... or maybe an unintentional SI. When I'm really nervous, I tend to pick at/rub my skin really hard without always knowing it. I wish I could be more helpful... I hope you're doing alright :)

And its nice to know it really wasn't SI... that really would have made me feel worse. And i do have OCD thanks to my daddy lol.

I clean alot when anxious or triggered. Comes in handy for work though.... I'm a housekeeper!!
