I saw this new psychiatrist 2-3 times and got discharged as I no longer wanted to take meds and just stopped them
BUT
I see him everywhere I go!! He must live right next to my bf as earlier I saw him walking in the opposite direction to me and my bf, I then went to Sainsbury's and he WAS THERE!!!! He was down the ONLY aisle I wanted to go down out of the entire store, so awkward him just looking at me
I see him all the time in town
haha it's just sooooo awkward :/ sorry just wanted to tell some people

I used to run into my psych all time in Sainsburys. We'd say hi and that was that - it wasn't particularly awkward. Heh.
I met my old one in the pub once. It was a really weird experience. I also saw my old CAMHS lady in the supermarket and the gym on the same day. That was like she was stalking me!
Also, yeah, this would be better not in GC.

It was written for the lol factor so not so much a rant, couldn't really think of a suitable title!
I get really edgy when working and in town now, the funniest one was when I was shoe shopping in Brantano and he was there with his wife shopping for shoes (obviously!) xD he really wasn't interested in her and just chatting on his phone

Oh, also, the day after
I ran into my ex ED psych..guess where? At Sainsbury's!! when I had finished my shift..
I swear they all just come to keep an eye on me hehe
that was THE most awkward though!

haha, it can be really awkward. I ran into my doctor at the train station, and he started asking me about my therapist. I was so embarassed. Just wanted to run in the opposite direction.
What's even weirder is seeing your psych out and about just as you've been discharged from the hospital for an ED. I was gaining weight at home and the last time he'd seen me was pale and too thin...So he didn't recognize me!
I said, "Hi, Doc!"
And he just says, "Ah...I'm sorry, do I know you?"
"Of course, it's me, Jen!"
"Oh, my goodness, I'm sorry. I didn't know it was you. You look...healthier. Are you doing okay with your meds?"
"Yup."
Cue awkward silence before we excuse ourselves and head off in opposite directions >_>.
