tricky present question

What can I get my flatmates for Christmas?
It needs to appeal to a married couple similar in age to me, and their 3 year old son.
It needs to not be too expensive.

Ideas welcome. :)

Thanks!

MITTENS! fun for ALL the family.

TBH when friends etc have kids i usually just buy the kids a present and the parents are more than fine with it.

So if i were you id just get the little boy something :)

Get the kid a fist sized ball to play with. Get the married couple a bottle of wine.

Board games are also super fun. Although, a lot of them might be too old for the little tyke.

Or if the kid likes trains, you could get him a little wooden train like Thomas the train engine. He's blue.

Men come and go, but dust accumulates.

Was going to say a board game...but he is a bit young maybe.
There are simple card games you can get, geared for children; something they could do together.
And/or a bottle of wine for them.

I got my cousin and her husband and one-year-old son a little nativity scene for about £15 from the Christmas market in Birmingham. I hope it'll be one of those things they bring out every year, you know you have those family Christmas things? Hope so.

But I can tell you've been through hell...

A free babysitting voucher? and a resturant voucher for the adults lol

or, you could do a jar gift. Where you buy a nice glass jar, and put in the ingredients (kinda in layers) for a recipe and write a label with the instructions on. Linky and you can do loads of different types (cakes, cookies, soup, candles, candies, hot choc)

or even a lighted pot pourri jar which gives off a nice scent as it gets warm.

Theres litteraly hundreds of differnt recipes out there that you can put in them.
And if you have kids, you can give them some paint and get them to decorate the jar.
I think there pretty neat.

I got a kiddy family DVD, a kiddy card game, and some mixed chocolate fruit ie cranberries and raisins, and seasonal smarties. I'm going to try and get a nice container to put them all in over the weekend.

Excellent! Heh heh.
I wonder why they chose pink to be seasonal.
I'll have to see if I can find any. I need a healthy alternative to my occasional Terry's chocolate orange based lunch.
